A Columbus man was struck in the chest during an attempted robbery early today, police said.
The 27-year-old was in a parking lot when he was hit with the unknown object. He had a stab wound in his upper chest, though he was in good condition at St. Francis Hospital, reports state.
The suspect got no money in the attempted robbery, police said.
The suspect is a black man in his 30s, 6-foot and 130 pounds, reports state.
