A Columbus police officer had her finger broken early Monday as she was arresting someone, reports state.
Officers were called to the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge, 815 Sixth Ave., around 1:30 a.m. about a large fight. When they arrived, they saw several people arguing in the parking lot, police said.
One person was taken into custody, which led to another suspect interfering with the arrest, said Maj. Julius Graham.
“In the process of placing the handcuffs on the person who was resisting, her finger became jammed in the handcuff ring,” the major said.
