A 46-year-old woman received third-degree burns on her legs during a fire Saturday morning, Columbus police said.
A case worker was doing the routine rounds at American Work, 4443 Cusseta Road, around 11 a.m. when smoke was seen coming from a room, reports state.
That’s when the woman ran out of the room with burns to both her legs, police said.
The woman was taken to The Medical Center by ambulance. She was in stable condition, reports state.

The wounds weren’t life threatening, police said.
