Some singers in the top 24 will be revealed on tonight's episode of "American Idol," which airs 8-10 p.m. on Fox.
The remaining names will be announced during Wednesday's show, which airs 9-10 p.m.
The move, which Fox executives announced in a statement Monday, is a major format change for the Fox reality series. In the past, the "big reveal" was done all in one night. Contestants would sit in front of the judges and learn their fates.
You have to wonder how the new setup will affect the episodes that air tonight and Wednesday. Most importantly, will the singers still showcase their cheesy dance moves once the top 24 is revealed?
