Crews from ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" will start filming in Columbus on Sunday.
That's when one local family will get the show's token "door knock" and learn they've been chosen to appear on the popular ABC reality series. On the show, which airs Sunday nights, the selected family is usually whisked away on vacation after they get the good news.
Meanwhile, volunteers will work on the building/renovation project. For the Columbus episode of the show, the "Move That Bus!" reveal is slated to take place next Saturday.
The families are chosen by ABC from thousands of applications. The location is kept secret until the day work is set to begin and the family learns of its good fortune. The Columbus episode is scheduled as this season's finale.
