Florida State doctoral graduate has top dissertation

A recent doctoral graduate of Florida State University has been honored as the author of the nation's best doctoral dissertation in nuclear physics.

He is the winner of the 2010 Dissertation in Nuclear Physics Award presented by the Division of Nuclear Physics of the American Physical Society.

He received the award last week in Washington, D.C.
