Muscogee Schools: Fort Middle School holding Saturday tutorials to prepare for CRCT
Fort Middle School will hold a Saturday tutorial to prepare students for the Criterion Referenced Competency Test on March 6, from 9 a.m. to noon at the school on Woodruff Farm Road.
Students will review math and reading comprehension skills to prepare for the CRCT.
The CRCT is a state standardized test administered to all public school students in grades 1-8. Scores on the test are key in determining if a school makes adequate yearly progress under the federal No Child Left Behind Act. In some grades, scores are also used to determine if a student advances to the next grade.
The school will also hold review sessions on March 20 and March 27. The CRCT will be given to students April 13-23.
