Who got voted off American Idol on March 11? Get your American Idol results 2010

Four contestants were eliminated from "American Idol" on Thursday night: Katelyn Epperly, Todrick Hall, Alex Lambert and Lilly Scott.

Curly-haired Epperly, 19, of West Des Moines, Iowa, built a following early in semifinals but offered a mediocre rendition of Carole King's "I Feel the Earth Move" this week. Judge Simon Cowell said the performance reminded him of request night at a restaurant.

Hall, who hails from Arlington, Texas, struggled throughout the semifinal phase. After shaky song choices in early weeks, the 24-year-old singer got good reviews for his performance of Queen's "Somebody to Love." However, some judges and fans said it was too Broadway for "Idol."

Lambert, famous for his mullet and good vocals, was somewhat of a surprise elimination. Despite little air time during auditions, he built a following during semifinals -- even though he lacked stage presence. This week, the 19-year-old singer from North Richland Hills, Texas, sang "Trouble" by Ray LaMontagne.

Scott, 20, of Littleton, Colo., divided fans with her quirky vocals. The "love her or hate her" performer sang Patsy Cline's "I Fall to Pieces" this week and got mixed reviews. Ultimately, the performance was likely just too low-key for a critical week.

Now, we have this season's top 12 singers: Crystal Bowersox, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus, Katie Stevens, Paige Miles, Tim Urban, Casey James, Lee DeWyze, Lacey Brown, Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia and Didi Benami.

Thursday's show also included a performance by "Idol" alums Scott MacIntyre and Matt Giraud.
