Can you call it cage dancing if Miley Cyrus is supposed to be a bird?
That's one of the questions accompanying "Can't Be Tamed," Cyrus' new music video that premiered on E! News Tuesday night.
In the video, an obvious attempt to mark the teen star's departure from the "Hannah Montana" world, Cyrus portrays a rare form of caged bird. "Avis Cyrus," to be exact.
Funny, I didn't learn that one in biology class.

Maybe that's because, as the music video reveals, Avis Cyrus has an affinity for skimpy dance wear and seductive moves.
Inevitably, "Can't Be Tamed" will have its critics. But it's also a prime candidate for a guilty pleasure dance track.
I write that as a girl who still listens to Britney Spears' "Gimme More" during morning dance parties.
