Source: Tyler Lambert, son of 'Diff'rent Strokes' star Dana Plato, kills self

Tyler Lambert, son of "Diff'rent Strokes" star Dana Plato, committed suicide on May 6, People.com reports.

Lambert, 25, died from a gunshot wound. His death was almost 11 years to the day his mother died in 1999, the online magazine states.

The cause of Plato's death was a drug overdose, People.com says.
