Brookstone cruised to a 13-3 win against Holy Innocents' in the decisive third game of the GHSA Class A baseball quarterfinals Wednesday.
The Cougars (23-8) will host defending champion Wesleyan in the semifinals. The teams play a doubleheader in the best-of-three series Monday.
Brookstone broke the game open with a seven-run third inning. Will Braxton led the way, going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs.
Holy Innocents' (24-9) committed six errors in the game, which ended after six innings because of the mercy rule
Joey Lewis threw a complete game for Brookstone, striking out seven.
