Auburn crime: Police looking for two suspects in restaurant robbery

Auburn police are looking for two men suspected of robbing a restaurant Thursday night.

According to a police department press release, the robbery occurred at around 10:20 p.m. at a restaurant in the 300 block of North Dean Road.

A store employee told police that two men entered the restaurant, stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and then fled the scene. One of the man had a handgun. No injuries were reported.

One of the suspect was described as black, about 20 years old, standing about five feet seven inches tall. He had short black hair, in small twists of braids and was wearing a black shirt.

The other suspect was also described as black and about 20 years old, standing about six feet one inch tall. He had black hair and was wearing a mustard-colored shirt.
