Columbus crime: Burglary on Forest Avenue

A flooring company had hundreds of dollars worth of equipment taken in a weekend burglary, Columbus police said.

The suspects broke inside a Forest Avenue home between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The thieves took a miter saw, face nailers, air hoses, extension cords and nails, all valued at more than $500, reports state.

Some $300 in property damage was done during the burglary, police said.
