Columbus crime: 2 arrested in carjacking

Columbus police arrested two teens early today in connection with an alleged carjacking at Church’s Chicken, reports state.

Quincey Wood and Demartrie Harris, both 17, are accused of putting a pistol to a 31-year-old man’s head around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of the restaurant at 4256 Buena Vista Road. The suspects took the man’s maroon 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix, though reports listed it as recovered, police said.

The man was uninjured, police report.
