River Road Pharmacy fire: Lillian D. Burkett rearrested on new charges

A woman linked by authorities to the River Road Pharmacy fire was rearrested Thursday, Muscogee County Jail records state.

Lillian D. Burkett, who was 49 years old when first arrested in connection with the Sept. 27 fire, was booked into jail on charges of false report of a crime and insurance fraud, records show. She has already made bond on her new charges.

Burkett, along with her son Bobby Jo Burkett, 27, and Michael Lowery, 29, all of Columbus, are accused of setting fire to the pharmacy at 5100 River Road.
