Chef Jamie Keating, the owner and executive chef of the RiverMill Cafe, 3715 First Ave., will be holding a cooking demonstration at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
A special guest is Chef Matthew Ratliff, the assistant pastry chef of the Everglades Country Club in Palm Beach, Fla. Ratliff, who won the $10,000 first place prize in the "Sugar Impossible" competition in "The Food Network Challenge" series in April, will do a pulled sugar demonstration.
The fee is $35, plus tax and gratuity. You'll get two drink tickets and a full buffet.
Ratliff will make the plated dessert.
