Columbus crime: Suspect kicks open door of Third Avenue house; no one hurt

Someone kicked open the front door of a Third Avenue home today, though police said no one was hurt and nothing was taken in the burglary.

A report of someone busting open the door of the home near 25th Street reached dispatchers around 11:30 a.m. Initial reports said the suspect had a gun, but an officer at the scene said it was unclear whether a weapon was involved.

The officer added that nothing was taken in the reported burglary.
