Columbus crime: 3 men in masks rob Dollar General store

Three men in masks, one of them sporting a black-and-white Spiderman hood, robbed a Dollar General Wednesday night, Columbus police said.

The suspects stepped inside the store at 326 Farr Road wielding a shotgun, revolver and a machete. They told everyone to empty their pockets before forcing the customers to a back stockroom, reports state.

The men then ordered the manager to open the store’s safe and give them money. Afterward, they ran in an unknown direction, police report.No one was hurt in the robbery, reports state.

The suspects were black men between 20- and 25-years-old. One was between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-1 and 145 to 160 pounds. The second was 5-foot-9 and 140 pounds. The third was 5-foot-9 and 130 to 135 pounds, police said.
