'No Excuse' Music Festival planned for Auburn

The third annual "No Excuse" music festival will be August 21 and 22 at Kiesel Park in Auburn, Ala.

The music will start at noon on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. It will continue until sundown both days.

The first day will include rock, blues, folk and jazz music while the second day will be gospel.

The first day's lineup includes several groups including the Dooley Blues Revue, Red House Revival and Martha's Trouble.

Sunday's gospel day features groups such as The Jesus Squad, and the Anointed Hand Sisters.

Craft vendors will be on the site. Food and drink will be available.

Tickets are $10 each day and $5 for students. Proceeds benefit the Domestic Violence Intervention Center and its shelter, Safe House.
