Author Jessica Handler at the Columbus Public Library Friday

Jessica Handler, whose memoir, "Invisible Sisters," was named one of the 25 books every Georgia should read, will be the features speaker Friday at 7 p.m. in the Columbus Public Library, 3000 Macon Road. She's part of the Chattahoochee Valley Writers' Conference.

Her book is about how her family coped having two of her sisters with terminal illnesses and how she struggled being the only survivor.
