Columbus weather: 100 percent chance of rain; high near 84

Rain is expected to fall in the Columbus area today, and the high will be in the mid-80s, the National Weather Service said.

There's a 100 percent chance of showers today which is expected to bring between a quarter and a half of an inch of rain. The chance of rain drops to 90 percent tonight, when temperatures are expected to fall to around 67. By then, 1 to 2 inches of rain likely will have fallen.

On Monday, there's a 50 percent chance of rain. The high will be around 80 and wind gusts could reach up to 15 mph.

On Monday night, it's expected to be partly cloudy with a low around 57.
