Novelist to speak at library Tuesday

Ellen Hopkins, a popular novelist who writes about teen life, will speak Tuesday at the Columbus Library on Macon Road.

She will speak at 7 p.m and there is no admission charge.

Her books will be on sale before and after her presentation.

Her best sellers include "Crank," "Burned," and "Glass."

Crank was based on her daughter's addiction to crystal meth.

Her appearance is sponsored by the Muscogee County Friends of Libraries.
