Actress Tonea Stewart to speak at Tuskegee convocation

Actress Tonea Stewart, best known for her reoccurring role at Etta Kibbee on the hit television show "In the Heat of the Night" will be the keynote speaker Sunday at Tuskegee University's 85th annual scholarship convocation.

Stewart received an NAACP Image Award for her role in the film adaptation of John Grisham's "A Time to Kill."

She is currently a tenured professor and dean of the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Ala. where she is administrator for the Department of Art, Music and Theatre.
