2 Columbus KFC restaurants hit by burglars on Sunday

Two Columbus KFC restaurants were hit by burglars on Sunday.

The KFC restaurant at 1934 Manchester Expressway was hit around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday. A piece of concrete broke the glass on the west side door. Property damage was estimated at $150. The police report did not mention anything being taken. Police responded to the alarm at 4:45 a.m.

The KFC restaurant at 3548 Macon Road was hit early Sunday morning. Police got the call at 8:15 a.m. A large rock was used to break the glass on the front door. The estimated damage was $600.

A cash drawer was taken. The value was put at $200.
