CSU works with Johnson Elementary students in "If I Had a Hammer" exercise Wednesday

Students in Columbus State University's College of Education and Health Professions will work with fifth graders from Johnson Elementary School on Wednesday.

The students will take part in the "If I Had a Hammer" exercise from 9-11 a.m. at the Hammer House, 1242 Broadway.

The exercise lets youngsters learn how to build a house in a hands-on program. They learn that they must know how to use math, social studies, science and communications to build a house.
