After chase LaGrange police charge man with meth, cocaine possession

Police in LaGrange, Ga. had to chase Brandon Richardson this morning. When they got him, they charged him with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

It was around 2 a.m. when LaGrange police were conducting a traffic safety checkpoint in the area of Commerce Avenue that they noticed a 1999 silver Mitsubishi Gallant with two men pulling into the parking lot of a business. The two men then got out and fled.

Police found the men in a wooded area.

Zachary Alford was arrested for an outstanding felony probation violation and and failure to appear warrant. Police say that on Richardson they discovered 3.3 grams of methamphetamine valued at approximately $330 and 2.4 grams of crack cocaine valued at approximately $200.
