Students can find SAT scores online today

Students who took the SAT October 9 can now access their scores online.

The scores for the college entrance exam are available The College Board website. Scores from the October 9 testing will also be sent to colleges today.

The SAT is a college admissions test developed by The College Board. It tests a student's knowledge of reading, writing and math. Scores on each section can range from 200 to 800, with a possible total of 2400. Most students take the SAT during their junior or senior year of high school.

Students can also use the website to register to take the SAT. The deadline for the next test date, on November 6, has passed, but students can still register for the December 6 test date -- the last test date for 2010.
