Student caught allegedly having sex in CSU library indicted for bribery, public indecency

A female student at CSU accused in April of having sex with another woman in the campus library was indicted Tuesday by a Muscogee County grand jury.

Jessica Alaine Bass, 18, faces felony bribery and misdemeanor public indecency charges, court records state.

Columbus State University police say Bass and 22-year-old Nakita Holt were discovered having sex in a third-floor study room by CSU Police Cpl. R. Andrew Splawn.

Bass allegedly asked the officer if he would “pretend this didn’t happen” if she gave him $100.

Holt was charged with public indecency only. Her State Court case remains open.

Both women were arrested and made bond.
