No foul play is suspected in the death of a woman found early Monday at the Comfort Inn on Macon Road, Columbus police said.
Priscilia Johnston Radford was found in a room at the 3460 Macon Road hotel about 4 a.m., police said. Muscogee County Coroner Bill Thrower said he pronounced Radford dead at 4:15 a.m.
“We don’t suspect any foul play at this time,” said Columbus Police Capt. Gordon Griswould. “It’s still under investigation.”
Police responded to a report about an unconscious woman at the hotel. When they arrived, they found Radford deceased, the captain added.
Thrower said he couldn’t yet confirm Radford’s city of residence.
“We’re investigating a death,” Thrower said. “The person is going for an autopsy tomorrow.”
