A Columbus man wanted for aggravated assault now faces traffic charges after his Thursday arrest, reports state.
Christopher A. Hill, 24, is charged with three counts of aggravated assault and one count each of driving while license suspended, no proof of insurance and having a suspended registration, reports state.
According to police, an officer spotted Hill about 2:30 p.m. driving on North Lumpkin Road. Knowing Hill had outstanding warrants, the officer stopped Hill in the parking lot of a Circle K at North Lumpkin Road and Victory Drive and arrested him.
During his arrest, police discovered that Hill had a suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance and a suspended registration, reports state.
