Columbus police: Subway on Victory Drive robbed

Columbus police are searching for a gunman who robbed a Subway restaurant Sunday night, reports state.

The suspect entered the store, 4022-B Victory Drive, about 10:20 p.m. Hiding a gun under his coat, the suspect demanded cash from the employees, police said.

After robbing the store of about $105, the suspect ran west toward Fort Benning Road, police said.

The suspect is a black man, 20- to -25-years-old, 5-foot-11 to 6-foot and 140-160 pounds. He wore a gray coat with a hood, a black cloth over his face, dark jeans and bright shoes, reports state.
