Columbus police: Woman charged with pedestrian under the influence

Columbus police arrested a woman early Thursday on alcohol violations after she was spotted in the middle of the road, reports state.

Jenisse P. Wilson, 22, is charged with pedestrian under the influence, disorderly while intoxicated and obstruction, police said.

According to reports, Wilson was in the street at Woodlawn Avenue and Warm Springs Road about 2:20 a.m. Cars had to stop because she was in the street.

When police arrived, Wilson was cursing. Officers told her to stop, and she started walking away. However, she kept yelling and cursing, which led officers to arrest her, reports state.

Wilson refused to get into the officer’s patrol car and it took two officers to get her inside it, police said.
