Chef Rob McDaniel of SpringHouse Restaurant in Alexander City, Ala., on Lake Martin, will be on "Iron Chef America" this weekend.
He will be a sous chef, working with team leader Chef Chris Hastings, co-owner of Birmingham's Hot and Hot Fish Club, who will take on Iron Chef Bobby Flay.
Hastings was the featured guest at the Columbus Symphony Orchestra's first Toast of the Town.
The show can be seen on the Food Network at 10 p.m. Sunday; 1 a.m. Monday; 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. March 3 and 2 a.m. March 4.
McDaniel will provide tastings from his restaurant at this year's Toast of the Town.
Tickets are $85, $95 starting March 17.
