Columbus police arrested a man Saturday after they received a complaint of people smoking marijuana near an apartment complex’s pool, reports state.
Michael D. Sanders, 18, faces charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug related objects, reports state.
According to police, officers responded about 7 p.m. Saturday to the Preserve at Columbus Park, 5462 Whittlesey Blvd., about several people smoking and packaging marijuana at the pool/clubhouse area. Officers arrived and learned that someone pointed to Sanders as a suspect, who was in a vehicle in the parking lot.
Police say they got permission to search the vehicle and found 1/10 of an ounce of suspected marijuana, two smoking pipes and several plastic baggies. Sanders was then arrested.
