A Muscogee County grand jury dismissed this week the case against a woman accused of stabbing her husband, court records state.
Sabrina Shine, 47, faced a count of aggravated assault in connection with the March 26, 2011, stabbing, police said.
Shine was accused of becoming upset early that day because she thought her husband had lied about his whereabouts for the past two days. The disagreement became violent and she stabbed him multiple times in the chest with a steak knife, police said.
The husband also had scratches on his arms when he tried to take the knife away from his wife. He refused medical treatment, and his injuries were not life-threatening, reports state.
