Auburn police arrested two men over the weekend on accusations they broke into a vehicle and stole items, reports state.
Mitchell T. Servold, 19, of Auburn, and David P. Mason, 18, of Enterprise, Ala. both face charges of unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and third-degree theft of property, police said.
According to reports, police received a complaint about 10 a.m. CST Saturday about suspicious people pulling on car doors in a parking lot off Hemlock Drive. Officers spotted Servold and Mason in an Auburn University parking lot and found them with property taken from a vehicle parked nearby.
Neither suspect is connected to the university, police said.
Servold and Mason were taken to the Lee County Detention Center and given bonds of $3,000 each, reports state.
