The Family Theatre, 2100 Hamilton Road, presents "The Underground Railroad: A Journey to Hope" this weekend.
The play can be seen at 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Underground Railroad is not about trains. Instead, it's the true story about the network of people who worked together to bring slaves, seeking freedom, from the South to the North.
This play is about playwright and minister Luella Krieger's ancestral home in Sugar Grove, Pa., that was a key stop on the Underground Railroad.
