A Muscogee County grand jury indicted this week two people on murder accusations in the September shooting of a man at the Plaza Motel, court records state.
Calvin D. Denson, 20, and Dominique R. Lowe, 24, each face charges of malice murder, felony murder and armed robbery in the shooting death of Julian Hernandez, 38, their indictment states.
According to police, Denson and Lowe went on Sept. 9 to the Victory Drive motel trying to sell drugs.
Police said Lowe brought crack cocaine, but the people inside Hernandez’s room wanted powder. He left and returned with the powder cocaine.

An armed Denson allegedly returned a short time later and ordered everyone in the room on the floor. Hernandez, of Calhoun, Ga., began struggling with the gunman and was fatally shot in his chest, police said.
Hernandez had been staying in the hotel since August and working on Fort Benning.
Both suspects were arrested within days of the shooting.
