Columbus crime: Police looking for suspect in robbery and shooting at trailer park

Columbus police are looking for a man accused of robbing and shooting another man Saturday afternoon.

According to a police news release, Deandre Reshade Harris is considered armed and dangerous and wanted on outstanding warrants for armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred near the Marathon Trailer Park at 3432 Marathon Drive at around 1:20 p.m. Saturday. Police said a man was robbed and shot in the right arm. The bullet traveled across the top of the inside of his chest and stopped at the left side, police said.

Investigators later identified Harris as a suspect. He is described as a black man, 23 years old, standing about six feet tall and weighing between 170 and 180 lbs, with short hair and some facial hair. Police say he lives in and frequents the Oakland Park area of south Columbus.
