Columbus police made an unrelated arrest early Tuesday as they were searching for a burglary suspect, reports state.
Police say they arrested Fredrick Huff, 44, on charges of obstruction of an officer, Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act, possession of a drug related object and a parole violation.
According to reports, someone called police about a burglary suspect in the area of Manchester Expressway and River Road. Officers spotted Huff in the area when they arrived, and they tried to speak with him.
