Columbus weather: Weekend starts out wet, expect sun by Sunday

The weekend will start out wet, but things will clear up in time for a sunny Sunday, WRBL Chief Meteorologist Bob Jeswald said.

Expect some showers today, when highs will climb to 79. Winds could reach 20 mph.

The rain will continue through the night, when it'll be mostly cloudy with lows dipping to 61.

Look for more showers and maybe a thunderstorm on Saturday. It'll be mostly cloudy with highs around 76. Winds could reach 20 mph.

Saturday night will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms rolling through. It'll be mostly cloudy with lows about 54.

The sun will make an appearance Sunday, when highs will reach 75. It'll be mostly clear that night, with lows about 52.
