Columbus police: Woman attacked during robbery, doesn’t remember assault

A woman attacked during an early Sunday robbery told police she doesn’t remember what happened.

The robbery happened between midnight and 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of a shopping center at 6028 Miller Road, reports state.

According to police, an officer found a 34-year-old woman lying in the parking lot near a Chevrolet Malibu with its front doors open. She told the officer she’d been hit on the head and didn’t remember what happened.

Reports state someone stole some items from the woman, though police don’t list what was taken.

Police say the suspect in the case is a man known as “Patrick” or “Slim.” He’s a black man, 5-foot-5 and 140-160 pounds. He wore a black-collared shirt and faded blue jeans.
