Traffic stop leads to discovery of $1K worth of pot

A Friday afternoon traffic stop led Columbus police to discover about $1,000 in marijuana, reports state.

Antonio Deshawn Robinson, 19, is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects and a headlight violation, police said.

According to reports, Robinson didn’t have his headlights on during the rain and an officer stopped his 1989 Jeep Cherokee about 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Chase Homes area. Police then found $1,013 worth of marijuana, two weighing scales, a marijuana grinder and a pipe used to smoke the drug.
