Woman accused of stabbing brother

Columbus police arrested a woman late Friday after she stabbed her brother, reports state.

Latoya L. Redding, 28, is charged with one count of aggravated assault, police said.

Officers responded about 11:45 p.m. Friday to a Ladd Street home about the stabbing. When they arrived, they learned Redding’s brother had cuts to the left side of his face and right hand.

Police accused Redding, who had a swollen right eye, of cutting her brother. Both Redding and her brother were taken to The Medical Center, and Redding was later booked into the Muscogee County Jail, reports state.
