Columbus police charged a 19-year-old man early Saturday after breaking up a massive house party in the Chatham Woods area, reports state.
Akil Billah Lambertis is charged with maintaining a disorderly house, police said.
According to reports, officers responded about 1 a.m. to a noise complaint in the Chatham Woods area, just off Macon Road in east Columbus. When police arrived, they saw about 250-300 people loitering in the subdivision.
Officers then spotted another crowd of people in front of Lambertis’ Chatham Woods Court home. Several people told officers they were at a party at Lambertis’ home. Many people were loud and cursing as they walked in the street, police said.

Officers then spoke with Lambertis, who told police he was hosting a party. Officers then charged Lambertis and dispersed the crowd, reports state.
