The April SEBA meeting changes venues

The Southeastern Bluegrass Association (SEBA) meeting on April 29 will be in the chapel at the Lake Pines Event Center, 6404 Garrett Road in Midland.

The meeting and bluegrass jam will start at 1 p.m.

The chapel was built by Connie McCutchen, using salvaged materials from other country churches in the area. She put it all together in 1997 and calls it "the newest old church in town" or "the little brown church in the woods."

Lomax Austin and Friends will perform that day, starting at 1:15 p.m. After their set, everyone else can sit and pick until 4 p.m.

Austin performs with the Wildwood Bluegrass. The music is mostly old-time bluegrass like "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" and "Columbus Stockade Blues."

The meeting, concert and jam are free.
