Officers arrested a man early Sunday after they responded to a naked woman calling for police, reports state.
Gilbert Armour Jr., 37, is charged with false imprisonment and battery in connection with the incident on 11th Avenue, Columbus police said.
According to reports, officers went to Armour’s 11th Avenue home about 4:50 a.m. Sunday after learning a naked woman was calling for police. When officers arrived, the 21-year-old woman told police that Armour assaulted her while she was inside his home.
“She stated that he grabbed her and held her against her will with his arms wrapped around her,” reports state.

Police say Armour struck the woman several times. She asked him to let her go, but he refused.
Armour denied hurting the woman or holding her against her will. Officers then arrested him, reports state.
