In midnight home invasion, stolen cash and few leads

Columbus police are investigating a home invasion and robbery that happened this morning on Benning Drive.

According to a police report, two unidentified men used a rock to break into the residence about 1:45 a.m. Once inside, one of the men kicked in a bedroom door and yelled, "Give me your money!"

A 42-year-old man who had been asleep gave up his wallet, which had about $400 cash. A second unidentified man, meanwhile, stole a DVD player worth about $100 from the living room.

The victim and his two roommates said the lights were off during the home invasion, and that they cound't get a good description of the robbers.
