A woman accused of stealing a car over the weekend threw a fit when she was arrested hours later, Columbus police said.
Terry Redwine, 35, is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer, reports state.
Police say Redwine stole a $12,000 car about 4:50 p.m. Saturday, and that the car’s owner told police Redwine was the suspect.
Less than three hours later, police responded to 1700 Fountain Court about a dispute involving a knife, reports state. Officers saw Redwine and the stolen car at the scene, and they then arrested her.

Redwine fell to the floor as police tried to walk her from the apartment. She began screaming, and officers had to carry her to their patrol car. Redwine was then taken to the hospital before she was booked into the Muscogee County Jail, police said.
