Teen robs Payless Shoes

Columbus police are searching for a teen they say robbed a Payless Shoes store Tuesday morning.

The robbery happened about 11:25 a.m. at the 3087 Victory Drive business. The suspect walked inside the store and demanded an employee give him all the money from the register. The employee handed over an unknown amount of cash, and the suspect left the store, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery, reports state.

Police say the suspect is a black male in his early teens. He wore a black hoodie, dark jeans and had a black cloth over his mouth and nose.

There have been no arrests.
